Re: Bricked a URC-6440, any way out?
I'm not sure that I understand the issue, but under the assumption that you don't have (or can't access) a settings.bin file, you can download one from the diagnosis area. For example, https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/app.php/file?file_id=12273 . Of course, this file will probably not correspond ...

Re: RMIR cannot decode learned signals
"Does it mean there is no way to put these codes in RMIR, or in any JP1 remotes?"
No it just means that at present, RMIR won't correctly decode the learns unless it is set to use Decode IR (using Options/Set IR Decoder), as HamburgerHelper1 described. However, Rob has already produced and uploaded ...

Re: RMIR cannot decode learned signals
These signals are not decoded correctly by either RMIR 3.2.0 or IrScrutinizer 2.4.2. Yet the signals very closely adhere to the RC5x protocol--they are certainly actually RC5x, and the learns are nearly perfect. So I tried Teaser, a program I wrote years ago that uses a very different algorithm ...

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
I don't have any experience with this box, but according to the manual and a picture I saw, it has a IR port which allows one to plug in an electrical signal from an IR receiver box. I guess that the Leap-S1 doesn't have a IR receiver capability built in.

Re: Web site issues
Mine looks fine. I do see the same apparent shade of red for the animation of the IR signal.

Vicky,
As I posted earlier in this thread, I also have a S90D. It is model QN77S90DAFXZA, with software T-PTMDAKUC-1301.1.
The Discrete Off IR command does work for us. I wonder if the firmware in your TV was up to date when you did the testing.

I was simply correcting the erroneous idea that the pins are labeled along a row. Go to the link in my first post and scroll down to the fourth group of photos. That shows an exact drawing of the pinout. All JP1 remotes with 6 pin headers have the same pinout. Don't worry about which revision you ...

Vicky,
We recently bought a S90D, and I've used your upgrade. Ours does respond to Discrete Off (your notes say that yours does not). Our S90D is model QN77S90DAFXZA, with software T-PTMDAKUC-1301.1. Ours updated the software automatically, but I see that is an option. Discrete Power functions are ...
