JP1 Remotes

Ok i was finally able to get it working with the code 1442 for cable!!! Thank 3FG...

Now onto a new issue.... in IR when I am trying to assign buttons on the main screen for DVD it will not allow me to assign the "Device Type" as DVD.... it continually defaults to VCR... will that pose and issue?

So I have tried the HD Tivo file that resides in the Tivo file section but it is setup for a 6131 remote and doesnt transfer over the functions. I have also tried the Tivo master file but that does not seem to control the HD Tivo either??? Is there a dedicated 1056Atlas file for the HD Tivo?

Ok well I am back after a while and the remotes seem to be working well in both rooms. Of course the wife likes to gripe about how she liked the old remote because it was easier, blah blah.... basically the buttons have moved so she can't always find the right button.

Some of the Vizio remotes may have a JP1.x connector pad. Anyway, on a Vizio remote 66700 MTS{Play} hex code = AF. Sleep{Pause} = 8F. Add those to your device upgrade, set a device button to TV/1758 and try them out.

Thanks for the mathdon... seems to have fixed my issue. Now to post that ir file from my remote to see what I am doing wrong.

There was another thread where I was asking about issues with IR.exe... the program seems to work fine however I have lost the initial top portion of the screen and cannot seem to get it back. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but cannot get that top portion to come back ...
