I have 3 RS type Kamaleon remotes and I was not really wanting to make cables and do surgery on my remotes so I tried the modem approach first. I tried my speakers and other things and had limited success. I finally stuck on the idea that this is a magnetic coupling and most speakers are shielded ...

Does anyone know what key strokes need to be done on the RS 15-2138 remote to get it to accept updates thru the phone? I am playing around with my unit and decided to try wav files first before I go and modify the unit for direct connection.

My sentiments exactly. I am tired of chasing around looking for help from the manufacturers. AS an electrical engineer I should be able to figure this out. I Got remote Master and now I need to find out what an RDF file is as it keeps complaining that it cannot find one to get started.
