Nope.

Do you have a JP1 remote? If so, download the memory and then go to the raw data tab in IR.exe. The data from $002 thru $00A is the signature. The ASCII version is the first 8 chars of the RDF name.

For example, the data for the Replay 5000 remote is "53 42 50 41 53 42 50 30", and the RDF ...

But I will post the question on that forum and see if I get a response in the next day or so. I have ask this same question a few months back on that forum and ...

Off topic Hex Code Question

First off I would like to thank everyone on this forum! Being able to control all the essential functions of my home entertainment system with one remote has been a dream of mine 10 years in the making. My fiancé thought I was completely crazy, which she expects, but has now come to see just how ...

But I'm lost as to what to do next.
Why??? :? If it's working... what's the problem?

This will only turn the cd player on and off. No other keys work.
That doesn't surprise me since I just realized that CD/0053 uses the "RCA (Old)" protocol and all your learned signals use "RCA". The EFC's and ...

No I had missed that. Once I did this the tv device button now controls all the cd functions. But I'm lost as to what to do next.

Hey Mark. Thanks for sticking with me. I tried what you advised and the change did cause the tv device button to turn on the cd player but none of the other buttons worked. Any ideas?

Well no music last night  I tried the Power toggle code and it did not turn on my cd player but did turn on my Sony amp. So I deleted the key move and then the 0053 code stopped working.
So I created an upgrade code with the learned keys from my URC-7800 file found here
I uploaded that upgrade ...

Thanks again Mark! I will try entering just "96" etc instead of "096" as that was where I got the error with EFC checked.

I should be happily listening to CD's tonight :D

Hey thanks for the info. Things are slowly starting to make sense. When I try to enter EFC/Hex Cmd: 096 for Shuffle I get an invald intinteger error. If I tick the hex code box it seems to take it. Is this correct?

Also one more question. About this any way. I hope

I see on the advanced ...

I’ve been trying to figure out how to follow your advice...and I’m afraid I’m a little bit lost. Do I program those key moves using IR? If so is that explained in any of the documentation that is around? I have been looking around for information and need a little more help if possible.
Thanks,

Thanks for the tip. CD/0053 seems to control most of the functions of the cd player except power and shuffle. Is there a way to add off and shuffle :?:

Well one of the batts was compleatly dead. All new batts seems to be doing the trick.
Thanks again!
