Following up... the new and old remote have the exact same look, same keys and both say 1056B01 on the back.. I did an image search for the comcast 1067Bx3 and that is definitely not the remote I have.

Good Q... ok, so all I am trying to do is clone my remote... I was thinking the remotes were identical.. (they have the same model # on the back, I am not currently in front of the remote, but I purchased the new remote thinking that as long as they had the same model number, I could just directly ...

Failed to upload to remote

ALl.. I have used this forum over time and had great success making my remote behave exactly how I want them to.. Unfortunately, a remote died on me and so I thought I would just download the image (the last time I had all the tools installed was 2 laptops ago) with RMIR and upload it onto the new ...

Porting an upgrade to a new remote

Hello, Thanks to this board's great help, I was able to create a perfect remote upgrade back in the day for an Atlas Remote.. It has now worn out (buttons are temperamental, etc). I have a new remote that is almost identical (1055BC2 v. 1055BC1). I was hoping I could just download from the old ...

So no extender...

What about the power button behavior on the unextended Atlas?
Is there any trickery I could use to make it not behave in the manner that it does?

Atlas Power Button Weirdness

Thanks to all here, I now have an atlas remote that does almost everything I want it to do... I have one remaining issue and I am not sure which way to go to solve it...

I want the master power button to toggle power on both my receiver and tv regardless of the mode I was in previously. Currently ...

Ok, I guess I am dumb

Kupa, that code worked! So I have set it upon myself to figure out why, but I have been unable to figure this out.. my problem is (I think) that this is a built in protocol on the URC, so I am unable to figure out what to put into RM or KM to make it do the calculations for me. I need some mechanism ...

This is getting close...

Thanks, Capn... the key move thing worked perfectly...

So now it is just this receiver... I used the same Hex code because it is the same built in device number on both remotes... I thought that meant the codes would be identical.. I will try what you suggest kupa.

Thanks for the assistance

Gettting Better....

OK! progress.. I got the DirecTV working... I found a built in code that operated it (1377). So now this is getting pretty close.

there are 2 remaining issues..
1) the key moves for device selection on the receiver still do not work on the Atlas (working fine on the URC)

2) The Volume lock is ...

I am thinking that I might jsut not have the correct device upgrade for the satelite (have ...
