Great information about JP1!

I have been wandering the same thing. The JP1 remotes seem to be getting hard to come by.

You should consider making this a sticky and updating it as information becomes available.

URC 9960 B01 Extender

Is there an extender that will work with the B01 remote?
I recently purchased one from Rob and I assumed it would be one that would work with the extender but the best that I can tell is that there isn't one for the B01.

To start with I have ordered a unit from Rob and I am greatly appreciative of his work here as well as for providing the remotes at a great price.

I probably wasn't as straight forward in the previous correspondence as I should have been. I read through the postings and I wasn't sure if Rob was ...

Posted RDF file for RS 15-2116 still requires correction

The RDF v1.20 still contains the old "Dev_Cancel," syntax.
I was a bit confused by the direction of my problem to this thread. After looking at the syntax I realized the v1.20 version still contains the last error indicated in this posting. This still needs the "Dev_Cancel=$78:AllBlind," correction ...

Probelm with RDF 1.20 and RS 15-2116 SET_VOL_KEYS

I have had trouble getting my RS 15-2116 to accept the SET_VOL_KEYS to work with the DEV_TV. When I set the SET_VOL_KEYS to the DEV_TV on my CBL macro the remote still sends the volume key codes out using the CBL codes.

I re-loaded RDF 1.18 and the problem went away.

Could anyone else verify this ...

Appears to be a RDF 1.20 problem!

I loaded the RDF 1.18 version and it works fine. I am going to ask this question in the general forum.

Key127 - What is this?

I am using a RS 15-2116 with Extender 2. I noticed a Key127 at the end of a couple of as loaded macros. Does anyone know what this is? It isn't an option in the Available Keys section. Should I delete this entry?

15-2116 Extender 2 and 3 SET_VOL_KEYS Problem

I am using IR 6.00 with RDF V1.20. I installed and opened the latest version of Extender 2. Once I opened the Extender 2 file I make two changes.

1) Change the cable code to 0476.
2) Change the CBL Macro to: DEV_TV SET_VOL_KEYS DEV_CBL SET_CHAN_KEYS

Once I upload and activate this program in the ...

JVC DVD/VCR Discrete On/Off Codes

Has anyone found any discrete on/off codes that work with the JVC DVD/VCR units. I have a cheap unit and a "higher end" unit and I can't seem to find any discrete on/off codes :( .

Disassembly of 8810w OFA Remote for Increased Signal Output

I recently reviewed some of the information and postings on sending a stronger signal with my 8810w and thought I would take a stab at it.

First to open the case I used a 4" putty knife to open the case. This was an ideal way to go. I tried a few other suggestions but I wasn't having much luck ...

FYI: I have had a number of problems with my 8810w as well. Originally it worked fine. Then after I replaced the batteries (the previous ones were used in another device - kid's emergency) it started behaving much differently.

Originally I had to unplug the programming cable to use the remote. Now ...

I didn't see any effect by increasing the pause time. However, by using it multiple times I did get the desired effect. I haven't tried the pause protocol but it would probably be more efficient.

I listed the MISC device code incorrectly in the posting and it was set on 1104  .

I will post ...

Macro->
Bound Key: TV
