JP1 Remotes

Does anyone know if the URC-8820-MOTO (Cox) Remote is a 2.0x protocol and if so does it take the RMIR program to read and write to it ??

I have downloaded the current RMIR file and RDF with the current URC-8820BC1 (253602), but when I go to download it gives me: (No RDF matches signature starting ...

has a JP-port ??

How do you do a manufacturer's reset 981 ?? ...I do not see it under the setup menu's ??

I tried the ops reset but still no good...unless there is another way I can reset by using my JP1 cable ??

I have a URC 8910 remote, and its been working fine...but after a few program loads...I went back in to make a change and now its giving me a memory fault error ( Bad E2 )

I have tried to reset back to factory using the OPS Reset....but thats when it gives me the ( Bad E2 ) error.

Does anyone know where I can find the file ( Serial4Panel.pcb ) that shows the Contructions of the priinted circuit board needed for the Serial JP1 Build ?? or where I can buy serveral of the boards already cut and ready to go !!

Thanks buddy....I think I will give the serial build a try...my wife works at Mouser so I can get everything I need there...I guess no one sells the pc boards already cut for this model ??

Also...can you add a pilot light on the serial design to show transmission ??

How do I now order from your site...im looking for a Simple JP1 Cable...I have purchased one from the Canandian site...but it does not work...and I have checked everything out and tried it on two different computers but still no good !!

Also...can I not use a serial cable on my USC-8910 remote ...

When having the cable hooked up...is it normal for the display on the remote to be scrambled ??

Also...Im still getting the connection failure...I will try the above suggestions.

I have found several .bin and .txt files for the Coolsat 7000 but have not found the proper way to install it into my Sling Media Software file ??

Can anyone please direct me to the right directions on how to install and make the proper file work.
