I know you bailed out. In case you're still here, I didn't. I wanted to check signal repeat idea.
See zip file. It includes ICT file, picture, your file with a test macro:

OK, well, I've learned something. I wantedto just start with known-working stuff and just cloned the (working) TV-button macro over to the PVR button.

Thus, everything that works in "TV mode" should work after the PVR button is pressed and that macro runs. Except, that it doesn't. The Sleep button ...

Thanks Elizabeth.

I think I'm following most of what you're asking.

Yes, the PVR primarily uses the built-in 0618 TiVo code.
Yes, the DVD is a Sony, so the Sony20 makes sense. I don't remember if that's an upgrade or if I'm using mostly built-in device. I will get that laptop booted up again (old ...

Here is the RMIR file .

The keymove was added via the RM keymove tab. I tried to put it in as EFC, but after closing the tab it's showing as "Function", but it has selected the correct item from the device upgrade. If I click the EFC and HEX radio buttons, they all have the correct values.

I ...

6131 (old) Angle{Sleep} issue

Hi all. It's been ages since I've been on the forum - I've been very self-service for years.

That said, we got a new bedroom TV, so I've recently dragged out the gear again and have been doing some programming on our old 6131s.

Got everything working the way I wanted (after some odd struggles with ...

You're the man! Thanks.

This is great. With stuff I've got lying in my parts bins I should be able to build a "TiVo IR Extender" which is powered by the TiVo's USB port and puts the receiver Eye up in the Armoire while the TiVo hides out of sight.

Random Question: Carrier Frequency for TiVo Protocols?

Hey all, I have a random question for the protocol experts out there.

Can someone tell me (or show me how to figure out for myself) what the carrier frequency is for the TiVo (advanced) and/or TiVo official protocols?

I'm going to be relocating my bedroom TiVo out of the very packed TV armoire ...

I have some experience with FIOS and FIOS-like systems from my day-job (from the product engineering side), so I can fill in a few extra details:

1) OMT == O N T - Optical Network Terminal

This is your actual "modem" that takes the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and then creates a local network for you ...

Pioneer VSX-1018AH Additional Discrete Codes

No question here, but I did find some new Discrete codes that I thought might be useful to others searching as I was:

I got my new Pioneer VSX-1018AH receiver up and running this weekend. I started with (and had a large degree of success with) Capn Trips excellent "yet another Master Pioneer" file ...

Well, I've ordered the Nyko IR remote adaptor for the PS3 (from Amazon).

I expect to have it in a week or so (took the cheap shipping). I hope to be able to post an upgrade file shortly afterwards.

From all of my research, it seems that I won't be able to remote-power on the unit, but I can live ...

In fairness to the forwarders, that is what the email tells you to do... :)
Yep, that's the only reason I sent it... Sorry.

Any decent IR keyboards for 10ft range?

Hello all, I know this question has been asked before, but the answers are dated with respect to what's currently available and what really works. I need answers circa 2007...

I recently setup a PC in my media niche (rescued an old laptop) and set it up with the Solidtek ACK-581.

I chose the ACK ...

My only remaining question is:

Is there any value in trying a different version of the Pioneer Protocol?

I remember there are several variants, and I had some trouble getting one of the newer ones to work with my system a while back, but I'd dig into it again if it meant avoiding this problem ...
