No batteries reversed

using a URC 9960 and a URC 8910 without issues. batteries are in the remote.
Cable only works one way..try reversing the 6 pin connector in the remote

Make sure you configure the parallel port under control panel / system / Hardware/ device manger

Tried that.. did a SET LCD as the last step of the macro as well as the 2nd last step (before SHift-AUX) no luck

I have created a new 8910 file using the 8910X3-empty file as the template (this has the extender stuff preloaded), defined the Macros to display custom message when a device is selected, but it still displays the standard messages in the LCD

Appreciate your help in troubleshooting / identifying ...

I bought a parallel cable from Rob and it works with the T43 I have using XP SP2. I had to change the Parallel Port to use IO Resource Range of 0378-0379 on the Resource Tab and enable legacy Plug and Play support under Port Settings tab of LPT1

Try that and see if it helps

I'm trying to import the URC-9960 2K eprom v2a extender using IR, but keep getting an error 14001, the application has failed to start..

Have also tried with a new blank template

Have configured the folder for RDF's and Externder in IR..tried copying everything to the same folder including IR ...

I went to CC and they had this unit on display. Was able to capture only the power code from their device to a remote

I'm trying to program a URC-9960 to control my Dish DVR 942. I have downloaded the Dish_921_Pbrown_Combined.txt from the file section, but its still unable to control my receiver (921 & 942 use the same remote)

My Dish Remote address is set to 08 (this allows for multiple Dish receivers in the ...

I have an Xbox and Dish DVR hooked up via optical. A DVD Player connected via coax and a VCR connected via Audio In..

Looking for a way to switch the inputs and control the volume without getitng up from the couch :)

The unit also has an AM/FM radio..I never use these ..
