Is it in the battery compartment or on the plastic back of the remote?
Hi, you can see the code from the cover of the battery.
Old version will be "URC-9960, New one will be "URC-9960B01"

Oh! It seems no solution at the moment.....

If I use my old K8 (URC-9660) to do some process:
create device code, macro programming and keymove etc.,
is this possibe to convert the IR file (URC-9660) into wave file for URC-9660B1 uploading?

Thanks.

Different protocols

Hi,

After learned a TV remote, I find there is one function with different protocol.

All the function is using "NEC x 1"
other one function is using "Gap-598-1567-28?"

Do you know what does it mean? And how can I convert into device code?

Thanks.

Hi,
I am using Traditional Chinese Win2000 & OfficeXP, I can load the KM upgrade code text file, but can't save with the following error message. Any idea?

Hi Aberguerand,

Thanks for your help. Does the region you indicated is the whole area where the upgrade code located?

I mean even the wave file contains more than 1 upgrade code, the region (0100 - 0146) is still the same?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Johnsfine,

I have created the wave file by irtowave but the file size is quite large (~2MB).

Last year, you help you to create a wave file with code #1064/1066.
The file size is so small. Any difference with the file created by irtowave? How did you do that?

Hi,

Is there any way to make the wave file that I can add new code instead of wipe out the current upgrades?

How about the OFA support centre, if their wave file is wiping out the current upgrades also?

Thanks.
