If it is truly just $10, I am willing to give it a try. But where is this $10 JP1.3 cable?

I bought the 15-134, over a decade ago, as a backup for my go-to remote, which is a URC6131. But lately it is acting up. So I break out my brand new 15-134 and hoping I could programme it.

If my parallel JP1 cable is not compatible, I would be really disappointed. I don't think I am willing to ...

Re: New Radio Shack 15-134

EDIT: Finally got one and finished up the RDF. Actually nicer than I expected. The device buttons have led's so you know the active device, and the number keys have letters printed above them for easier searches on DirecTV DVR's. It also has a hidden Home Theater mode as well as 3 additional ...

Returning user. Confused.

I have been using JP1 for 20+ years and I use IR to manage my remote but I have not been using it lately. I used to have a One-For-All URC6131 but the remote is failing (it would suddenly stop responding and requires a power reset) and I need to find a replacement.

I have previous purchased a ...

Apparently this device needs to see some repeats before it reacts. So you could tweak the protocol to send a few more frames.

Try this protocol. it sends a minimum of 3 repeats. See if that helps.

I am not sure. But the mouse directions for the combined remote does not work for me.

I think it has to do with limitation of my remote URC-6131n. I know that the URC-6131 cannot support 2-byte keymoves. Not sure if it is the case. Hopefully someone can confirm.

If I download the mouse only, it ...

Upgrade code requires long press to work

Hi, I recently downloaded upgrade code for a PC remote control:

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6172

I programmed them on my URC-6131n. The key works fine. But for some reasons, I need to press the key longer (about .5 sec) in order for the receiver to log my key ...

Yes, that's what I meant. The code works but buttons are missing.

mr_d_p_gumby, thanks for the upload. The code seems to work. However, when I open it using the latest KM spreadsheet. It says Key Move not allowed. So I cannot program several buttons. Do you know what's wrong?

I have the HVR-1250 and have the same 45 key silver remote. I use the file here:

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=3089

Note that the file does not contain the "Guide" key and I found the advanced code for it being 142.

So far, all the buttons seem to be working ...

How to learn keys without a learning JP1 remote?

From time to time, I kick myself for my jumping on the URC-8910 when it was on sale on Amazon. I have 2 URC-6131 (both 2xAA and 2xAAA models) remotes but I have to rely on the good folks here to upload their remote maps.

Sometimes I bought a new device and the map is not yet available. Sometimes ...

Access HD universal remote

Something caught my eyes:

Access HD has "U" models that come with universal remote:

http://www.accesshd.tv/assets/pdfs/DTA1010_SpecSheet.pdf

http://www.accesshd.tv/products/universalremotes.html

What's funny is the remote has a longer feature set than the box itself:

• Controls the Access ...

Thanks. I usually try to look up the advanced code from:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/adv-codes.shtml

Which works really well for my TV.

Unfortunately, there is no code listed for 0675. I tried 0821 but it does not work for my Magnavox. The buttons missing for 0675 does not trigger the light so ...
