Excellent, thanks for the help. Rob that KM file worked perfectly for me. I only had to remap one key (SELECT->ENTER), and the rest was exactly as I wanted it. Can't thank you enough for the support.

Rob,
I have a plug-in transceiver similar to this one:
http://www.x10.com/products/x10_tm751.htm
In fact, it may be that one. And it understands IR codes from the remote that came with my kit. Isn't there a way to send the same codes from my Universal that it will understand ?

Setting Housecode for X.10 Automation
Hello,
Has anyone set the Housecode function for X.10 Automation (0167) using an Outlaw Audio remote ? For example, with my regular X.10 remote, I first program the house code=B since I had used the default A for something else. Then all my codes worked properly. WHen I set my Outlaw Remote to ...

Customizing an Upgraded Device
Ok, I've just been trying my hand at Upgrading new Devices on my Outlaw Audio remote using IR.exe and the JP1. I've successfully added several devices, some with Protocol and some without. Basically, I was focusing on my JVC DVD player controls. After using JP1 and IR to add all my components to my ...

The VPT settings tell you which device the volume punches through to in each device mode.
Ahh, I see - ok. The codes are 0558 for my JVC DVD player, and 0067 for my JVC VCR. It's interesting, before I blew all away all codes on the remote with the 9-8-1 reset code and re-uploaded with your posted ...

Got the TUNER working again!
Woohoo - I made some good progress !! :P
I'm so glad I found your webpage and software tools. I went ahead with a factory reset on the Outlaw remote and no change. My next idea was to take the dump file you provided in the link above and upload it to the remote. That got my TUNER function working ...

Reprogramming
Rather than posting a screen shot of IR.exe, you should post the actual IR.exe dump in the Diagnosis Area, then we can look at the data in IR.exe ourselves.
Ok, sorry - seems I need to play with IR.exe a bit more to know how it works and what is meant by the data on each of the tabs. The main ...

Thanks for the help
Wow, some really good info, thanks very much. :D
