JP1 Remotes

I remember the transformer problem with the 15-1994s. We had young children and hardwood floors. I think I went through two remotes before I learned and glued the #@it out of it. Someone eventually managed to find a source for the transformers. I bought four and (of course) never had another problem ...

I see now! That's great. Thanks for all the help. My source at Gateway tells me this was a hot item so hopefully someone else will get some use from it. I couldn't find the info at any of the other sites (eg. remote central), so maybe we're the first.

Hmm, I think my ignorance is showing. That all went right over my head. There were buttons on the oem remote for things like Angle Subtitle, Zoom, etc., but I didn't have a corresponding button on my 15-1994. Hi I think I've mapped most of the keys for the Gateway Connected DVD Player, but I'm not sure exactly what I should upload as a file. Here is what I have done so far. I still have to test it out.

Gateway seems somewhat helpful so far. I want to ask them about discrete codes as well as other information to program my 15-1994. How would I put the question to them so that the information I get could be used here. the codes they post must be for their own universal remote.

No, none of the 0081 codes seem to work. I must have been editing my original post when you made some replies - if you don't mind taking another look - I've added some of the codes I've learned.
