On page 15, the cutaway view shows a jumper that goes between Gnd and Vin of the Nano.
To resolve the problem remove the jumper and spread lead 3 of the QSE159 over 1 hole so it lines up with the Nano Gnd pin.
Additionally, the QSE159 seems to be difficult to find. The OPL551-OC seems to be an acceptable substitute.
A fine project and will make many of my projects much easier. |

Assuming you refer to the "cutaway" on page 16, not 15, you have caught me in a very sloppy error. Throughout the project I alternated between a design using a Nano that was populated with full 15-pin headers by the seller, so as not to require any soldering by the user, or a design using a slightly less expensive unpopulated Nano, which required the user do a very small amount of soldering to install only the three pins needed. The reason I never caught the problem is that I built my prototype using a fully populated Nano and simply cut off the Vin pin. I regret that I did not include that requirement in the article. Now you can see why I have retired from this business. I just make too many mistakes at my age. |

Tommy has addressed these concerns in v2 of the doc, which is now posted. |
