File - Sony Bravia KD-49X8309C 4K Android HDTV (UK 2015)
Description: SONY KD49X8309C Android 4K HD Internet TV, 2015

Derived from an upgrade done for KDL-32EX653 at a distance, which was based upon learns from a Harmony remote.

The discrete inputs Hdmi1 and Hdmi2 were missing, so they have been invented to fit the same formula as Hdmi3 amd Hdmi4.

Some other commands have been learned from the Android Tv's own remote, and adapted. In the process several OBCs modified themselves, but they still seemed to work ok.

Sony says that a software upgrade will allow the Tv to record programmes to an external drive, so the relevant commands are untested.

(Other commands are marked and bracketed when they didn't work with KD49X8309C, but they might be useful in another region or for other Sony Tvs).

Thanks for the info. I'll try to load this into the editor and see what it reveals in the way of available codes and try them on my jp1 remote to see if they work. Unfortunately, after a software upgrade, my discrete code for the component input to which I have my DVD player hooked no longer works. I am afraid that Sony will change these things negating my efforts. I believe I am a bit over my head now and wondering if I should just try getting a remote from Logitech that programs itself.
