.zip file with upgrades for Xsight Color to control Luxman TP-117 preamp/tuner.
1) Luxman TP-117.rmdu - upgrade including codes for preamp, tuner, and tape deck 1 control when a Luxman cassette deck is connected to TP-117 with control cable.
2) Luxman TP-117 Tape 2.rmdu - upgrade with codes for tape deck 2 control (not included with 1 above because uses same buttons so is a different logical device)
3) Luxman TP-117 CD.rmdu - upgrade with codes for CD player control when a Luxman CD player is connected to TP-117 with control cable (needs to be separate for similar reasons to 2 above)
4) Luxman TP-117 base system.rmir - basic configuration file with activities for each input
5) Luxman TP-117 Remote Codes.xls - Excel spreadsheet with all of the remote codes from the original RTP-117 remote control.
This is not 100% tested yet but everything that I have tested is fully functional. What is needed is testing of some CD control functions.
Update: the CD codes are whatever is used for the CD player natively. So what is attached is codes for a generic Luxman CD player. I am successfully using an Oppo BDP-95 with this by using its codes instead. You need a Luxman RC-501 remote sensor and a RC-503 remote repeater to make this work however. The Oppo does work hardwired to the RC-503 so I assume that means you can use aftermarket IR blasters with the RC-503 as well. |
